Recognizes WeSchool on its 35th Award Ceremony for its extraordinary contribution to management education

Mumbai, June 14, 2013:  Bombay Management Association today conferred Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development (WeSchool) with the ‘Outstanding Institute of Management of the Year’ award on its 35th Award Ceremony. Incepted in the year 1954, Bombay Management Association (BMA) is India's top, not for profit Management Association that aims at providing variant services to improve the standard of business management in India.

An initiative by Certiport to honour the next gen design professionals
 
 
 
Mumbai, June 17, 2013: Arena Animation, an animation arm of Aptech, a global leader in learning solutions, held national selections to determine Indian representatives at the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) World Championship 2013 scheduled from July 31st to August 3rd, 2013 in Washington DC. ACA world championship is the first ever annual competition organized by Certiport, a test delivery solutions provider for students between 13 to 22 age group, with a view to identify and reward the creativity of talented youth in web designing category. Student representatives from around 45 countries including India would be competing in the finals starting next month.
 
Out of 1600 entries received, 30 shortlisted candidates appeared for the ACA exam held at Aptech House, Andheri in Mumbai. To qualify for the final round, candidates were required to score over 85 % in the ACA exam and submit a test project based on social themes like Gender inequality, Save the Earth, Go Green, Literacy, Piracy, Anti-corruption, etc using Adobe Photoshop along with a short description on their artwork. The jury examined the artworks and took a personal interview of candidates on their chosen theme. Original artworks of 30 shortlisted candidates were uploaded on the COMPUDON 2012 - ACA Championship Facebook page for public voting. Two finalists Ashik Vithani from Surat and Jasbir Singh from Amritsar were selected on the parameters of ACA & jury score, public voting and their artwork.
 
Certificates co-branded with Aptech, Adobe and Certiport logos were awarded to all participants. The final winner of ACA championship will be honoured with US $5000, Adobe® Software and a trophy while the 1st and 2nd runners up will be rewarded with US $2500 and US $ 1000 respectively along with a trophy and Adobe® Software.
 
Announcing the Indian finalists for ACA championship, Mr. Ninad Karpe, MD & CEO, Aptech Ltd said, “This is a great opportunity to get assessed by industry veterans and get a grip on the industry demands. We are overwhelmed at the response received from the candidates and wish them luck to perform better in the finals.”
