To accommodate its nearly two thousand tech-savvy, knowledge-hungry students and faculty, WeSchool’s LRC has subscribed to many databases including EBSCO’s Business Source and Complete that covers collections from renowned institutions such as Harvard Business School which have proved to be one of the best resources to assist students and professors with their research as it collates data from across the world in a structured manner thus enhancing the quality of their study.

With a strong strategy built around a clear value proposition of satisfying the needs of the digital-savvy users’ ever-increasing demands, Mr. Giridhar Kunkur, Head of  Learning Resource Centre at WeSchool along with the Library team took several initiatives, one of them being the establishment of ‘infoWE’, an interactive library portal which helps access various global databases, journals and eBooks. Each bulletin focuses on a specific topic and contains links to relevant articles, news and videos that are in sync with the ongoing syllabus in the classroom. The implementation several such initiatives has not only led to a substantial increase in the number of students accessing these databases but also improved their understanding about their field of interest,
its application and assimilation.
To spread the message to other educational institutes in the community, WeSchool had the privilege of initiating and hosting ‘Library Strategic Directions: Meeting the needs of 21st Century Scholar’, a workshop jointly organized by University of Mumbai and Harvard Business School.
