They compete for just about 600 seats in the school. All graduates from this institution have found their calling and paved a successful road ahead for themselves, many of whom are today successful leaders in corporate, academics and social sector. Many are also successful entrepreneurs. Today, NMIMS sends out another group of potential leaders in the industry.
Based on its performance since 1981, NMIMS was conferred a deemed to be university status by Government of India in 2003. Since then NMIMS has grown exponentially into an outstanding higher education institution.”

Mr. Vinod Rai, former Comptroller and Auditor General of India graced the occasion with his presence and addressed the graduates.

Mr. Vinod Rai, the Chief Guest for the event, congratulated the graduating students, encouraging them to be responsible citizens in the corporate world. While addressing the students he said, “Today, I am proud to stand before a group of soon to be future leaders of the corporate community. On this day, you all are at the threshold of entering into the corporate culture, where you will be faced with a multitude of choices to make. Graduating as MBAs from a premier management institute, opens avenues into becoming Indian’s future leaders. But the key to becoming successful leaders lies in the essence of all round development, and in being ethical and responsible citizens of the society. I am encouraged with the spontaneous out pouring of the streets by the youth, putting forth their view on healthy development and strong signals in the society and government, implying that the young seek transparency in action and will not accept lack of accountability.”
