Three outstanding Indian students are to be offered £10,000
scholarships to attend University College London (UCL), one of the
world’s
leading universities, as part of the GREAT-UCL Scholarships – India
2015.
Students
from across India will be able to apply for the scholarships for
postgraduate study (MA/MSc/MRes) commencing from September 2015 in child
health, biosciences and development planning.

About the GREAT–India scholarship programme
The
GREAT scholarship programme is a joint initiative, part funded through
the UK government’s GREAT campaign and through contributions made by UK
Universities including UCL. It provides
Indian students an opportunity to have a fulfilling educational experience in the UK.
During a recent visit to India in October 2014, Vince Cable, UK’s Minister of Business, Innovation and Skills announced the
GREAT Britain Scholarships – India 2015 as
part of the `GREAT Britain' campaign in New Delhi. The scholarships for
2015-16 are worth almost £1.5 million and are tenable for September
2015 and January 2016 intakes for undergraduate and postgraduate
courses at 57 UK institutions.
