is ranked among the top 20 in the UK according to the 2016 Guardian University Guide.Taught by research and industry-active academics with a wealth of experience, the programme supports students’ development as creative media professionals, able to produce high-quality content across a range of platforms.The course curriculum allows students to choose from a variety of critical studies modules such as photography, design in context, realism in narrative fiction and TV and new media entertainment, film and TV production and radio and screenwriting.The University has BBC as their Education Partner which gives students opportunities for work experience. Moreover, since the University houses the Media Archive for Central England, which is the screen archive for the Midlands in the UK, students will have ready access to the moving image heritage of the East and West Midlands in the form of film, tape and digital media. Students will also get an opportunity to participate in a number of international exchange

Through lectures, seminars, workshops, independent study, practicals,

work placements, research and one-to-one learning, the students will develop media skills & expertise in Media Production.

Course Graduates have excellent career prospects in areas like television and radio broadcasting, multimedia production, marketing, film-making, public relations, editing, photography, advertising, web design, multimedia production, etc. Those who want to set up their own company are given ample support by Sparkhouse, which is the University’s business incubation centre as well as New Media Lincs,which is a multi-media service provider which offers bespoke creative solutions to meet organisations’ social media, film, audio production and project management needs.New Media Lincs commissions final-year students to design, pitch and produce professional media projects for clients.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants with a minimum of 80% in Standard XII with IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

What the University looks for in an application:
Successful applicants should be able to evidence a high achievement in related subjects. They will also have the ability to analyse, write and most importantly be able to respond to the production workshops and projects at the core of the course.The University doesn’t expect prior knowledge of TV studio production but it is fundamental that applicants are able to work in groups of anything from two to fifteen on productions in a range of media.Applicants will also demonstrate an ability to manage and develop their own learning so that they are able to get the most out of the range of opportunities that the University offers.

Scholarships:
A £1500 scholarship, which is deducted from the first year fees, is available to all self-funding international undergraduate students entering a laboratory or studio based course at the University.
