in the country, The LNM Institute of Information Technology (Deemed
to-be University), Jaipur, invites applications for four year full-time
B. Tech programme. The programme prepares the students with strong
technical skills in the field of Engineering.
The
B. Tech programme is provided in the field of Computer Science &
Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE),
Communication & Computer Engineering (CCE), Mechanical–Mechatronics
Engineering (MME) and Mechanical Engineering (ME). The programmes
offered have 400 seats spread across these 5 disciplines. The B. Tech
programme offered at LNMIIT, is to develop trained professionals with
requisite skills in technical education, technical research, strong
focus on multi–disciplinary education with focus on Information
Technology (IT) and Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES).

About LNM Institute of Information Technology:
Established
in 2002, The LNMIIT is a joint effort between Rajasthan State
Government and Lakshmi and Usha Mittal Foundation’s philanthropic
initiative and has been providing excellence in education for over 12
years. With its emphasis on quality and rigor in education, the
Institute was granted Deemed-to-be University status in 2006 and
approximately 1120 students have graduated in the last decade.
Spread
across a 100–acre green campus, The LNMIIT offers IT-enabled
classrooms, well equipped laboratories, a state-of-the art rich central
library with digital resources. The Institute has over 1300 hostel
capacity for both boys and girls along with student activity center
(SAC) for extra-curricular activities like dance, music and various
indoor sports such as Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis, as well as

with a well equipped gymnasium.
The
LNMIIT has joint research collaborations with international
organizations such as NATEL Engineering Co. Inc. (California, U.S.A.),
Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSUP, Italy) and CERN (Geneva,
Switzerland). At the national level the Institute has research
collaborations with NIIT university (Neemrana), Physical Research
Laboratory (Ahmedabad) and VNIT (Nagpur). The Institute has student
exchange and internship opportunities with Nanyang Technological
University (NTU), Singapore; Kristianstad University, Sweden; Moscow
University, Russia; Joseph Fourier University, France, and many more.
The Institute has also sponsored and assisted Foreign Summer–Internships
at organizations like New York University, USA; UAB-Spain; Western
Michigan University, USA.
The
LNMIIT invites various companies visiting the campus for placement
activity such as TCS, Cognizant, Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon, The Indian
Armed Forces etc. More than 95% students of the 2014 graduating batch
had secured placement. Additionally 20 students are pursuing higher
studies out of which 12 students are at various IIM’s.
