Metropolitan Region has announced an internship program for college
students. The program will expand its talent pool and provide
opportunity for students to get into the retail industry as career.
Students
across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai can apply for Marketing,
Operations and Loss Prevention Department in the mall. Candidates opting
for the program can be from BCOM, BMS, BMM or Hotel Management stream.
This internship program is a boon to those candidates who are looking
for challenging and exciting profiles to begin their career.
Mall
is inviting resumes through various options. They have been directly
approaching colleges and putting up notices, inviting students digitally
through social media etc. The mall has already started receiving
applications and the social media response is tremendous.
Speaking about the program, Mr. Sunil Shroff, CEO –Viviana Mall

young and talented resources that can bring innovative ideas on the
table. Today retail sector is witnessing a sharp growth and more and
more job opportunities are going to be created in coming years by the
sector. It’s a good opportunity for students who are looking for
building a career in a retail space. Our internship program is targeted
towards training these youngsters, guiding them and channelizing their
talent towards a mutually beneficial work culture.”
The
program is not only meant for the two months period but will also open
avenues to reach out various brands inside the mall. Resumes of all the
students who successfully complete the internship program would be
shared with 250 plus brands present in the mall. This will open up
options for the students who are on the verge of starting their career.
Apart from this, deserving candidates will be given an opportunity to
work full time with the mall.
The
program will give candidates exposure to the corporate world and fields
like Functioning of Mall Marketing Department, Social Media Marketing,
introduction of core department of Operations, Familiarization to
policies and procedures of Mall Security & Safety management, etc.
On successful completion of Internship program, each participant will be
gratified with proper certification and stipend as per company policy.
