Animation, a leading animation institution in India announced today
that it is collaborating with Pixar Animation Studios’ RenderMan team to
provide access to the latest state-of-the-art RenderMan software in its
training programs. Arena Animation is the first Animation Training
Institute in India to work with the world renowned Pixar’s RenderMan
team who are delivering software, curriculum, and associated technical support so that Arena can deliver RenderMan Software training to students enrolled in Arena Animation training centres across India.
Pixar's
RenderMan has been specifically engineered to meet the demanding
challenges of rendering 3D animation and visual effects. It is fast,
efficient, and able to handle an astonishing amount of geometric
complexity along with offering cutting-edge effects. Critically, Pixar's
RenderMan has been developed to deliver outstanding imagery during the
stresses of real-world productions. The software has been used in a
majority of visual effects movies going back to the origin of modern
computer animation, introduced in movies such as Jurassic Park,
Terminator II and Toy Story amongst others.
