Mahindra École Centrale to address students in Kota

Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) is an engineering college launched by the Mahindra Group, in association with Ecole Centrale Paris – a 200 year old French Engineering School. Situated in Hyderabad, MEC will lead the trend of creating global leaders, imparting international quality and industry ready multi-disciplinary higher education through a five-year integrated curriculum, ushering in the Rise of the new engineer.

Dr. Sanjay Dhande Founder Director, Mahindra École Centrale will be addressing all students who are planning a career in engineering at Sanskriti Banquet hall, on Jhalwar Road, on Sunday, February 9th at 11am. This is a FREE seminar which will discuss various prospects of a career in engineering.

Professor Dhande has just completed an illustrious tenure as Director of IIT Kanpur. During his tenure, IIT Kanpur rose to a pre-eminent position not only in India but also at the international level.

He is also a founder of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Jabalpur and Indian Institute of Technology Rajasthan. Professor Dhande was a member of the Scientific Advisory Council to Prime Minister of India. Presently, he is a member of the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council as well as National Innovation Council. Professor Dhande is also a member of the International Academic Advisory Panel of Government of Singapore. He has taught in the departments of Mechanical Engineering as well as Computer Science & Engineering at IIT Kanpur.
