Hyderabad, February 24, 2014: Mahindra École Centrale (MEC), a premier engineering college to be launched in Hyderabad through a high- impact Indo-French collaboration, organized a seminar on careers in engineering and prospects worldwide. MEC has been connecting with students of various coaching centres across the country the past few months, conducting roadshows and connect sessions.
 
MEC, set up by the Mahindra Group, is an industry-academia synergy between Mahindra Group, a global business conglomerate, École Centrale Paris, one of the oldest and most prestigious engineering institutions in France, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. Speaking during the seminar to the gathering comprising mostly enthusiastic students of Sri Gayatri Academy, Dr. Sanjay Dhande, Founder Director, Mahindra École Centrale stressed on the need to create business leaders who are as comfortable working in India as in any other part of the world. He echoed the sentiments of the Mahindra leadership that MEC, in collaboration with École Centrale, will precisely fill this gap. He explained that the institute aims to train engineers, both men and women to be entrepreneurial, innovative and technically sound, so that they are capable of meeting the greatest challenges of their era.
 
He held strongly on the power of the Patent & Prosper paradigm to herald and usher in great innovations that would redefine future living and business. He was pleased to announce how the unique curriculum of this institution is designed to help students develop the ability to adapt, change and master the complexity of organizations and make them ready for world challenges in future. The admission process at MEC is set to begin from mid-year 2014.
