Management Education Proliferates in the Uncertain Economy of India

Studying abroad and settling overseas was perceived as prestigious in the society. But not for long, outsourcing and the mushrooming of BPO and KPO companies in India resulted in foreigners awakening to the managerial potential of Indians. An Italian major MISB Bocconi has chosen Mumbai at its new address. The Milan based international B-school has started admissions for the second batch of Post Graduate Program in Business at their Powai campus. With the perspective to provide global outreach to the Indian students, MISB Bocconi has been inviting the international visiting faculty from SDA Bocconi School of Management to enhance the global outlook of their curriculum and pedagogy.

 

Recently, MISB Bocconi had commenced the placement session for their first batch of PGPB (Post Graduate Program in Business) class of 2012-14. Several multinational and Indian companies have been visiting MISB Bocconi for students’ placement. Students have been offered been jobs in multiple sectors, ranging from Management Consulting to Finance in India and abroad, Manufacturing, Luxury and Retail. Students are offered pay packages ranging from 13 to 40lakhs per annum.
